DANK Fox Valley has served the community since 1967 through
festivals, parades, community service events and German language
schools. Our DANK Fox Valley language school locations have
been teaching children and adults for many years. The students
learn not only the language but experience cultural events,
dances and traditions.
After much discussion, debate and number-crunching, DANK Chapter
Fox Valley has had to make the tough decision to close our German
Language Schools for the 2009 - 2010 school year. Our students
were too varied in their language skills, age groups, locations
and numbers as to come to any viable class sizes based on the
per class costs needed to keep the schools going in their present
format.
We remain committed, however, to help our members and readers
find German language education at their appropriate levels using
curriculums approved by the Federal Republic of Germany wherever
possible.
To that end, we have listed here two alternative German language
schools in the area. Even though the schools are not affiliated
with DANK in any way, please contact them to find out more about
what classes they have available.
